Hayden Panettiere's parents have opened up about the incident which led into the arrest of the star’s father, and insist it was all inflated by the media. Alan Panettiere was arrested last Monday (Aug. 11) with charges of domestic violence, for alleging hitting his wife Lesley, three times on her face. The couple tells Extra, "It was all a big misunderstanding. Nothing actually happened." A representative claims, "They love each other very much and want everyone to know that the matter was completely blown out of proportion."
